Chris Hemsworth walked the red carpet at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of the Mad Max prequel, Furiosa , greeted by a wave of applause and cheers. The Australian actor, famous for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, played the villain Dementus in this new film directed by George Miller.
Hemsworth showed off an elegant and refined look, with a black suit by Dior, white shirt and tie. At his side, his wife Elsa Pataky , splendid in a white dress with a side slit.
Hemsworth's performance in Furiosa has been described by many critics as intense and magnetic . His Dementus is a complex and ruthless character, in stark contrast to the heroine Furiosa played by Anya Taylor-Joy.
