Fotorecord selects the most interesting and original works of photographers, painters, designers and illustrators, to offer them on the site to its Italian and European customers.

Author Agreements - Fotorecord

Photographers, painters, designers and illustrators (now AUTHOR) can request to have their works sold on Fotorecord.

The Author offers his works for sale; Fotorecord at its sole discretion accepts or rejects the works to be included in its online catalogue.

Digital files and rights

The author guarantees that he is the sole owner of the copyright of the works he proposes.

In the event of acceptance by Fotorecord of the author's proposed works, Fotorecord does not sell or have any rights to the digital files of the works: it acquires the right only to sell and ship the printed and printed + framed works.

The digital files are stored for the entire duration of the collaboration on Fotorecord's secure servers with the sole purpose of printing upon arrival of an order from a customer.

Fotorecord will make a low resolution copy of the digital file of the work with two purposes:

1. publish it online in the sales sheet so that customers can choose the work, after applying the Fotorecord watermark to prevent its use and duplication by third parties
2. publish it on the site and on its social channels for promotional purposes of the work and the Author.

Economic agreements

The Author proposes a value for his works, which Fotorecord must approve: the aim is to offer quality works at a correct and sustainable market price, for Italy and Europe.

At the end of the month 30 days (maximum 60 days), Fotorecord settles the authors for the sales of their works from the previous period, equal to the agreed sales price, less the 20% percentage that Fotorecord retains as compensation and as compensation for its expenses promotion and logistics.

Duration of the agreement

The minimum duration of the agreement for the sale of works by Fotorecord is one year, tacitly renewable. The duration begins from the day of publication of the work on the Fotorecord website.

Exclusive

Fotorecord does not ask for exclusivity on the sale of the works.
